Assam: Republic Day celebration meet held in Sadiya Co-District

DOOMDOOMA: Sadiya Co-District administration organized an important meeting on Tuesday to celebrate the ensuing Republic Day. The meeting was presided over by the Sadiya Co-District Commissioner (CoDC) Manash Jyoti Nath and attended by the heads of various departments of the Co-District.

Reviewing the arrangements to be made for the celebration of Republic Day, Co-District Commissioner Nath directed the officers and heads of educational institutions to unfurl the national flag on time and inform either the the Co-District administration or the Superintendent of Police in the event any difficulties were faced by them in this regard.

The police administration has already tightened security measures in Sadiya Co-District, it was informed in the meeting. Co-District Commissioner Nath appealed to the people to extend all cooperation to the Co-District administration for all success of the celebration.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioners Porcia Khanikar, Prithviraj Saikia, Circle Officer, Sadiya Revenue Circle Joy Deep Rajak, Commissioner of Pranam Commission Jugabala Buragohain, Additional Superintendent of Police Arunima Bhuyan, Red Cross Society Secretary Gunin Chutia, senior citizens, distinguished guests, and the personnel of the public relations department, it was stated in a press release issued by CoDPRO office.
