Assam: Retired headmaster of Palengi High School Jiba Kanta Gogoi no more

DEMOW: Jiba Kanta Gogoi (62 years), retired Headmaster of Palengi High School and a resident of Demow Kushal Path, died in a hospital at Dibrugarh on Thursday. Jiba Kanta Gogoi suffered a pressure stroke and was undergoing treatment. His dead body was taken to the Palengi High School on Thursday, where the teaching, non-teaching, school development committee members, students of Palengi High School, dignitaries, and local people paid their last respects to Jiba Kanta Gogoi and their deepest condolences to the bereaved family. His demise has been widely condoled in the area. He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter, a son-in-law, and other relatives.
