Assam Rifles organizes ‘A Day with Company Commander’ at Lokra

JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Rifles organized ‘A Day with Company Commander’ at Lokra on Sunday to engage, motivate,and inspire local youth, stated a press release. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 70 students, including SSC Pre-Physical and Agniveer aspirants, along with local boys and girls. The total strength, including staff and coordinators, was 110.

The event featured a series of impactful activities including a cycle rally to promote fitness and awareness and a plantation drive aimed at encouraging environmental consciousness. A motivational lecture by the Company Commander instilled discipline, leadership, and patriotic values among the youth. The innovation display highlighted local talent and creativity, while a medical camp provided basic health check-ups and consultations. The programme concluded with an institution visit, offering participants a closer look at the life of a soldier of the Assam Rifles.

The event significantly strengthened civil-military relations and left a lasting impact on the participants.
