Assam Rifles organizes health camp for Women in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A Medical Camp on Health and Wellness for Women was organized by Assam Rifles on Sunday at New Labarghari (Lokra) as part of its continued efforts to foster goodwill and ensure the well-being of the local population, stated a press release. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a total of 119 beneficiaries including women and adolescent girls. The event focused on promoting awareness about personal hygiene, maternal health, preventive healthcare measures and general well-being. A dedicated medical team of the Assam Rifles facilitated the smooth conduct of the programme. The initiative was appreciated by the villagers and reinforced Assam Rifles’ commitment to the welfare of the people in remote areas.
