Assam: SBI extends funds under CSR in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: The State Bank of India Regional Business office, Dibrugarh under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) released Rs 5 lakh for the infrastructure development of Athabari Lower Primary School and Rs 2 lakh for Prerona Pratibandhi orphan house in Dibrugarh on Thursday.

Prabhas Bose, Chief General Manager, Guwahati circle, was present and donated the cheques to the office bearers of the school and orphan house.

Speaking to mediapersons, Prabhas Bose said, “We have donated a total of 7 lakh funds for the development of Athabari Lower Primary School and Prerona Pratibandhi orphan house. The funds were given under our CSR.” Amit Kumar, Deputy General Manager (B&O), administrative office, Dibrugarh, and Prasanta Kumar Sarmah, Regional Manager, RBO, Dibrugarh, were present during the programme.
