Assam: Severe storm causes devastation in West Karbi Anglong

KHERONI: A powerful storm swept through multiple areas of West Karbi Anglong district last night, causing significant damage. The affected locations include Jengkha, Rongsopi, Kheroni Nepali Gaon, Jampathar (Kheroni Charali), and Mailoo, all under the Dongkamokam Revenue Circle. Several houses were destroyed, and numerous trees were uprooted, disrupting normal life in the region. Authorities are assessing the damage and providing assistance to affected residents.
