Assam: Singer Kalpana Patowary To Perform Live At Mahashivratri Mela In Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar is set to celebrate Mahashivratri Puja and Mela from February 25 to 28, inviting devotees and tourists from around the world to join the festivities.

The highlight of the event will be a concert on February 28, featuring popular singer Kalpana Patowary. Her performance is expected to captivate the audience and create a lively, unforgettable atmosphere at the Sivasagar Shiv Festival Fair.

Meanwhile, the Sivasagar district branch of Mili Aprin celebrated its 25th Foundation Day with a grand event at Se:di Melo Lotta in Sivasagar town on Wednesday. The celebration began with the hoisting of the Mili Aprin flag by Bidyut Mili, the President of the Sivasagar District Committee of TMOK.

The event, moderated by Jitendra Mili, the General Secretary of the district committee, was attended by several notable dignitaries, including Advisor Ramprasad Mili, Vice-President Rajen Mili, Assistant Secretary Abhinarayan Mili, and Executive Members Rajesh Mili, Sanjay Mili, and Mukesh Mili.

During the ceremony, President Bidyut Mili spoke about the goals and objectives of the organization, emphasizing the significance of the Mili Aprin flag and urging society to support the organization's cause.

The other dignitaries, including Advisor Ramprasad Mili and Vice-President Rajen Mili, also addressed the gathering. They shed light on Mili Aprin's mission, vision, and organizational aspects, outlining the organization's dedication to its cause.
