Guwahati: On Thursday night, Assamese singer Zubeen Garg was admitted to Ayursundra Superspeciality Hospital in Guwahati due to ill health. According to the doctors who have been attending him, the singer was suffering from high blood pressure. 

The doctors reassured that the singer is now in a better condition and is recovering well from his illness. 

It has been reported that Zubeen Garg had been feeling unwell since Thursday afternoon was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night at about 10:45 pm after his health deteriorated. 

The singer is taken care of and is well attended to at the Ayursundra Superspeciality Hospital by a team of doctors who have been monitoring his health and treating him as necessary. The team of doctors have been reported to be specialists who are checking his health parameters. 

Several tests such as ECG and other tests have been conducted by the medical team of the hospital to ascertain if the singer is suffering from any other medical issues. 

According to the doctors of the Ayursundra Speciality Hospital, there is a chance of releasing Zubeen Garg from the hospital today if the medical reports yield good results. This will be known after the doctors conduct several other tests on the singer today. More details are awaited.
