SIVASAGAR: In an effort to assess and enhance healthcare services, senior officials from the Sivasagar district administration and health department conducted an inspection of various healthcare facilities across the district on Wednesday.
According to Sivasagar district administration sources, Additional District Commissioner (Health) Meenakshi Permey, along with Joint Director of Health Services Dr Makhan Kalita, visited Morabazar Block Primary Health Center and Ayushman Arogya Mandir. Their visit focused on evaluating routine immunization coverage at these healthcare institutions. They also interacted with officials and staff, urging them to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive proper healthcare services and vaccinations.
As part of the initiative, Branch Officer of District Health department Barnali Khatiwara carried out inspections at Thowradol Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Demow Block Primary Health Center, and Kaibartadalani Ayushman Arogya Mandir. The visits aimed to monitor the implementation of healthcare programmes and assess the overall functioning of these centers.
During the inspection, the officials engaged in discussions with doctors, community health officers and other healthcare workers at the respective institutions. Key health indicators were reviewed and crucial healthcare-related concerns were addressed. Officials emphasized the need for efficient service delivery and adherence to government health programmes to maximize benefits for the public. The District Community Mobilizer (DCM) of the National Health Mission, Sivasagar, accompanied the officials during the inspection.
