SRIBHUMI: The Sribhumi Police organized a workshop for the officers and personnel across ranks on the new criminal laws, viz., BNS, BNSS, and BSA 2023, on Monday, January 3, which continued today, followed by a written test as part of the ongoing training program.

Similarly, a training program on "New Criminal Laws" was held today for the UB/AB personnel of Darrang DEF, Kamrup DEF, and Nalbari DEF at the Police Reserve in Darrang, Mangaldai. The session focused on educating the personnel about the latest updates and changes in criminal laws.

A workshop on the theme of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao for the police officials of Morigaon district in connection with 100 days of campaigning and enrollment by Sankalp: District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Morigaon, under Women and Child Development, Morigaon, was held last year at the auditorium hall, Mahila Mehfil.

The workshop was organized to address various issues pertaining to the improvement of the sex ratio, gender discrimination, components of Mission Shakti, and handling cases related to women and children along with plantation by Superintendent of Police Morigaon, DSWO, and HUB team.

The workshop was hosted by Binita Bez, Senior Supervisor, and was facilitated by Hemanta Kr Das, SP of the Home Department, Morigaon.
