Assam: Strong storm causes extensive damage in Numaligarh and Kamargaon

BOKAKHAT: A powerful storm that struck around 2:30 AM on Saturday night caused extensive damage in the Numaligarh and Kamargaon areas under Bokakhat sub-division. Many trees were uprooted, and several schools as well as houses were damaged. Electric poles and wires were broken, resulting in a power outage that continued through the night. No reports of casualties were received.
