“We have seized the truck but the driver of the vehicle managed to flee from the scene. We have started investigation into the matter,” the SP said. Officials from NHIDCL, PWD and other officials of government department reached the spot to inquire about the accident.
“The accident happened due to the diversion in the area and no signage. The condition of the road is also pathetic. The accident can be averted but due to no signage, the driver got confused and the accident happened,” said a source.
Due to the worst condition of the roads many accidents are happening in the state. The concerned department should take up the matter and should repair the roads.
