Hojai: An enlightening and impactful awareness campaign on the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament (VBYP) 2025 was successfully conducted at Rabindranath Tagore University (RTU) in the Bharat Tirtha Conference Hall on Thursday. The event was organized under the aegis of the Viksit Bharat @2047 Cell of RTU in collaboration with Nowgong College Autonomus(University), the nodal institute for the VBYP initiative.

The gathering, which included teachers, students, and prominent academic leaders, was addressed by Dr. Bhuban Chutia, the Programme Coordinator of VBYP 2025 from Nowgong College. Dr. Chutia elaborated on the objectives of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025, emphasizing its importance in promoting active youth engagement in national policy discussions and governance. He highlighted the campaign’s vision of shaping young minds to contribute toward building a developed India by 2047.

The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 is a significant step in promoting youth engagement and leadership said Professor Manabendra Dutta Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of the University. This event marked a key milestone toward creating a nation of empowered, responsible citizens. The initiative reflects the commitment of Rabindranath Tagore University and Nowgong College, and all involved institutions in advancing the vision of a developed and self-sufficient India said Dr. N I Barbhuyan, Secretary, RTUTA.
