NAGAON: Under the leadership of President Ajay Mittal, along with his executive team and members, the Lions Club, Nagaon set up a vision center at its office premises in Christian patty, Nagaon on Sunday. This initiative reflected their commitment to community welfare and public service.

The vision center was inaugurated by District Governor Lalit Kumar Kothari. The project was sponsored by Manak Chandra Nahata, a long-standing member of the Nagaon Lions Club and Bharti Nahata. The vision center will offer free eye check-ups by qualified ophthalmologists three days a week at the Lions Club Service Centre.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by General Secretary Hardarshan Singh, Treasurer Madan Saha, along with Biswajit Mahanta, Ganga Ballav Goswami, Nanu Das, Vinod Khetawat, Malchand Agarwal, and many other enthusiastic members of the club, stated a press note here.
