KHERONI: A theatrical performance titled 'Mon Toy Na-Kandibi' was ceremoniously staged at the drama platform in 3 No. Dahgaon village under 1 No. Kaki area of Hojai district. The play was formally inaugurated at 7:30 pm with the ceremonial ribbon cutting by Biswajit Chakraborty, Principal, and Assamese Medium High School, located in Lumding town of Hojai district.

Renowned social worker and respected community figure of Lumding's Hojai district, Sujit Shome, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Prior to the staging of the play, several local intellectuals and social workers were felicitated with traditional Assamese phulam gamochas.

On Wednesday at 8 pm, the play "Mon Toy Na-Kandibi" was performed by local artistes. The drama was written by Champak Sharma, directed by Prabin Saikia, and the production was managed by Srimanta Sankardev Krishti Vikash Kendra. The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of local residents who enjoyed the cultural performance throughout the night.

Towards the conclusion, the General Secretary of Srimanta Sankardev Krishti Vikash Kendra, Gajen Hazarika, extended heartfelt thanks to all the participants and guests.
