Bank looted in Panikhati area at Nagaon district

NAGAON: A three-member armed gang of robbers looted Rs 4 lakh from a State Bank of India (SBI) CSP in Panikhati area, 10 km from Nagaon district headquarter on Friday morning.

As per report, the gang opened fire, targeting the bank in charge when the latter entered the office with cash in his bag. The bank in-charge sustained bullet injury and was later admitted in Nagaon Civil Hospital. Police investigation is on.
