Baruni Mela cancelled to reduce mass gathering to avoid spread of COVID-19 in Silchar

Silchar: As per government instruction received from the Secretary to the Government of Assam, the social welfare department the upcoming Baruni Mela is canceled to reduce mass gathering to avoid the spread of COVID-19. This order comes into immediate effect by the District Administration Cachar canceling all permission for public gathering, stated a press release issued from Regional office of Information and Public relations, Barak valley zone.
