BCPL wins 20th Annual Genentech Environment Award

DIBRUGARH: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) has won the prestigious 20th Annual Genentech Environment Award 2020 in the Petro Chemical sector for outstanding achievement in 'Environment Management. BCPL Environment Team delivered a presentation on October 6 on different activities towards improvement of the environment at BCPL.

The award reflects BCPL's commitment towards a healthy environment and excellent performance in its protection and conservation through day-to-day activities. BCPL being a corporate citizen, always committed to operation excellence with a focus on sustainable development. The team involved in the submission of application, presentation and interview for the award in front of the Jury Members under the chairmanship of former Chief Justice of India (Supreme Court), Justice Dipak Misra. The Environment team headed by PranjalChangmai along with R K Singh, Chief Operating Officer, BCPL, handed over the award to Reep Hazarika, Managing Director, BCPL on Wednesday.
