‘Birangana Sati Sadhani Divas’ to be celebrated on April 21 in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Doomdooma Regional Chutia Chatra Santha, a day-long programme of ‘Birangana Sati Sadhani Divas’ will be celebrated on April 21 at Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha Bhaban. The programme will include flag hoisting, paying tribute, wreath laying ceremony, lighting of lamp, seminar on ‘Relevance of Heroine Sati Sadhani in the Cultural Background of Saadiya’ and honouring of selected persons having social contributions. The organizers sought the cooperation of all sections of the people of the area.
