Biswanath and Arunachal Police organize awareness meet along Assam-Arunachal border

Biswanath Chariali: Biswanath and Arunachal police jointly organized an awareness meet at Sijusa in Biswanath district located along the Assam-Arunachal border on Tuesday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sadar), Biswanath, Muzafar Hussain, Circle Officer Aseem Nath, Officer-in-charge of Satia police station, Kalpajyoti Sharma and Officer-in-charge of Itakhola Police Outpost, Indreshwar Sandik were present on behalf of Biswanath Police in the meeting. Officer-in-charge of Sijusa police station in Arunachal Pradesh, Uti Kania was present. The meeting thoroughly discussed about preventing coronavirus infection.

Though movement of people along the border of the two States has been completely stopped, a section of people allegedly make frequent movement using jungle roads for labour and other works in nearby areas. The police officers present appealed to the people to become aware of the disease.
