Biswanath Police’s drive Against illicit liquor at Habidoloni

Biswanath Chariali: The Biswanath police carried out a drive against illicit liquor at Habidoloni, Behuwagaon under Sootea PS in Biswanath district. Excise Department staff also joined the 100-member police team led by DSP (HQ), CI of Jamuguri and O/c of Sootea PS while the Quick Response Team was led by Armed Branch Inspector, Biswanath. Circle Officer of Naduar Revenue Circle also participated in the operation. During the drive, more than 4500 kg of fermented rice, around 300 litres of illicit liquor and 25 Distilling Apparatus (DA) sets were destroyed.
