MANGALDAI: BJP leader and Kharupetia Municipal Board Chairperson Krishna Saha has emerged as a prominent figure, captivating audiences with her eloquent speeches in Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi during the Panchayat election campaigns for BJP and NDA candidates.

On Thursday, while rallying support in various Panchayats of the Mangaldai LAC, she contrasted the BJP’s developmental achievements with the Congress’s outdated practices, stating, “The BJP government is building hospitals, medical colleges, and skill universities, while the Congress only offered cotton blankets.”

Highlighting the transformative initiatives of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma’s administration, Saha emphasized, “Our state government is establishing skill universities, medical colleges, and educational institutions right in your district, ensuring your children have access to quality education and healthcare without having to travel far to become doctors or engineers.”

She also commended MP and State BJP President Dilip Saikia for his relentless efforts in advancing Darrang’s infrastructure, including bringing the district onto the railway map, upgrading National Highway 15 to four lanes, and establishing a cancer treatment hospital.
