DEMOW: Ahead of the Deori Autonomous Council (DAC) poll, an election campaign meeting was organized in the Singiyani Rangamancha on Wednesday where Assam BJP president Bhabesh Kalita campaigned for Hiranjit Bireswar Deori, BJP candidate of 6 No Kotiyori Constituency, Bhaben Deori, AGP candidate of 5 No. Tengapani Constituency and Bhirab Deori, BJP candidate of 7 No. Rajabari Constituency. Bhabesh Kalita said that all-round development was taking place in the State.
In the election campaign meeting, Tapan Kumar Gogoi, MP, Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Thowra constituency, Mayur Borgohain, president of Sivasagar BJP unit, Chakradhar Gogoi, MLA of Moran constituency, along with other BJP leaders were present. On the other hand, Apurba Kumar Bhattacharjee, Congress leader, campaigned for Huneswar Deori, Congress candidate of 5 No. Tengapani constituency, Basanta Deori, Congress candidate of 6 No. Kotiyori constituency.
