BJP ‘Sankalpa’ meet to usher in peace and development: Pulok Gohain

Dibrugarh: ‘Sankalpa Meeting’ of BJP will be organized on Sunday near Jagannath Temple, Khanikar. This was informed in a press conference that took place on Saturday, and which was attended by BJP’s State general secretary Pulok Gohain; MLA Prashanta Phukan; MLA Rituparna Baruah; Assam State Housing Board’s vice-chairman, Subhash Dutta; and Dibrugarh district BJP President, Jagdish Rajkonwar.

Gohain said that in the Sankalpa meeting - which would be organized to usher in peace and development – Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal; State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma; minister Atul Bora, BJP State Committee president Ranjit Das, and other State-level leaders of BJP would be present.

Around 1.5 lakh people from Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Charaideu and Dhemaji are expected to attend the meeting. He added that the Dibrugarh police administration was also fully prepared to ensure that the meeting went on smoothly.
