BJP State President Ranjeet Kumar Dass faces black flag protest in Pathsala

PATHSALA: BJP State president Ranjeet Kumar Dass faced black flag protest at Pathsala. Dass gave a traditional response to the All Assam Students’ Union’s (AASU) black flags in Pathsala. He responded by waving the gamosa at them from the vehicle in which he was traveling.

The AASU protesters chanted slogans against him and the BJP government. Dass was on his way to meet the family of deceased BJP leader Pranjal Deka. He also visited BJP Bajali district president Nagen Choudhury during his short trip to Pathsala. Assam has been agitating across its length and breadth over the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
