Bodoland Territorial Council formed adhoc committee for Goreswar Municipal Board

GORESWAR: Under the provision of sub-section (3) of section 335 of the Assam Municipal Act, 1956, the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) formed an adhoc committee for Goreswar Municipal Board.

The committee was formed with Goreswar BTC constituency MCLA Pabitra Kumar Boro as chairman and Wrishav Ranjan Das as vice-chairman and social workers Khargeswar Boro, Dhiren Boro, Mantu Ram Deka, Arun Roy, Ramen Das, Nitu Deka, Anima Ramciary and Sujit Basumatary were selected as ward commissioners. In this connection, an oath-taking ceremony was held at Goreswar on Tuesday, which was presided over by Goreswar Circle Officer, Junti Deka. Executive Member (EM) of BTC, Dharma Narayan Das was also present in the programme.
