Bohagi festival concludes at Sonitkonwar Gajen Barua Khetra

JAMUGURIHAT: The 18th annual Bohagi festival concluded here on Saturday. The central programme of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha was organised by the Tezpur district committee in association with Seva Bahini. It was inaugurated by Babul Bora, the chief secretary of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha. The central event was held at Sonitkonwar Gajen Barua Khetra that began with hoisting of flag and naam prasanga. The open session was held with Kamalakanta Gogoi, Padadhikar of Sangha in the chair. Bhabendranath Deka and Dr. Tuntun Bora graced the occasion as appointed speakers. Dr Ajit Hazarika, principal of THB college released the mouthpiece of the programme. Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika graced the festival as chief guest. Prizes for various cultural events were distributed.
