
DUDHNOI: Young journalist Pankaj Mahato, a resident of Dhupdhara in Goalpara district, released the second longest book of poems at the Guwahati Press Club on Tuesday.
The poetry book launch meeting was presided over by Sukanta Basak, a prominent businessman and social activist of Dhupdhara. The 1,100-line poem written by journalist Pankaj Mahato based on the patriotism of the country's armed forces was unveiled by Apku President Swapan Kumar Rabha. Before the release of the book of poetry, a 70-foot-long manuscript of the poem was displayed.
Speaking to reporters after the release of the book, journalist Pankaj Mahato said that the country's military is the backbone of the country. Army personnel from every department of the country's security are living in extreme crisis and the impenetrable security of the country remains under impenetrable security. The army personnel are the sentinels for the country. Journalist Kalyan Roy, Bidyut Sarkar, eminent social activists Mostaq Ghani, Binoy Kumar Singh and Dwip Das were present at the meeting.
