Five books written by prominent writer Mina Phukan Hazarika were released in Lakhimpur on Monday.

LAKHIMPUR: Five books written by prominent writer Mina Phukan Hazarika were released in Lakhimpur on Monday. The books have been written targeting the children and teenagers.
Regarding the release of the books, a ceremonial programme was organized at the Uttar Lakhimpur Xahitya Xabha Bhawan under the management Jiten Baruah, the Director of the Mangalbodh Jagaran Kendra of Lakhimpur. The event was chaired by Dr. Premananda Howborah, the president of the Uttar Lakhimpur Xahitya Xabha. In the programme, a story book written by the writer targeting the children, named 'Rajar Sonali Tupi' was released by Bimala Gohain, a prominent writer of Dhemaji-cum-former vice-president of Sodou Asom Lekhika Samaroh Samiti. On the other hand, a novel for the teenagers, titled as 'Mohanat Etiya Jonak' was released by Puspa Gogoi, the working president of the Sodou Asom Lekhika Samaroh Samiti.
