DHEKIAJULI: In a concerning turn of events, a young man from Nichilamari village under Borsola police outpost has been missing for the past 15 days. He went missing while returning home by train from Chennai, where he had been working. The disappearance has left his family and relatives deeply distressed.

According to the family, the missing youth, Baidyanath Das, a resident of Nichilamari near Dhekiajuli, had been employed at a private company in Chennai for the past three months. On July 14, he boarded a train to return home along with a friend from his village. However, during the journey, Baidyanath mysteriously went missing from the train.

His friend, who was asleep at the time, reportedly woke up to find Baidyanath missing. Despite efforts to search for him on the train and at subsequent stations, no trace of Baidyanath was found. The friend later informed the family about the incident.

The family promptly reported the matter to the Rangapara railway police, but even after 15 days, no leads have emerged regarding Baidyanath’s whereabouts. The prolonged silence has plunged the family into grief and anxiety.
