Boy Goes Missing After Leaving For Morning Walk In Nagaon, Found Hanging In An Under-Construction House

Nagaon: On Thursday, a boy in the Nagaon district went missing after he left for a morning walk and was later found hanging in an under-construction house.

The family members and neighbours had gone looking for the 17-year-old boy after he failed to return home from his walk. Later, his body was recovered from an under-construction house near the Senchoa Railway Station at Nagaon at around 5:20 am. 

It is uncertain if the death of the boy is a case of murder or suicide. 

The unexpected death of the boy has sent his family members in a state of shock.

The real cause of the death has not been confirmed by the police. The matter will only be clarified after a proper post-mortem is conducted.

As per sources, the body of the deceased had to undergo a magisterial inquest.

A police officer of the Haiborgaon Police Station said, "During the initial investigation, there were no injury marks found on the body as per the police. Further details will only be availed upon post mortem."

In a similar case, the body of a man was recently found hanging in a Mawiaban in Meghalaya. The body of the man's wife was also recovered from the same room. 

The six-month-old baby of the couple was also rescued from the site of the incident.
