BPF Working For Peace And Harmony, Says BTC EM Ganesh Kachari

Tamulpur: BPF leaders and workers have started a political awareness programme in Sukali Serfang BTC constituency. On Sunday, a meeting of Suklai Serfang Block BPF was held at the premises of the office of the Suklai Serfang Block BPF which was presided over by Jinaram Boro, president of Sukali Serfang Block BPF.

Addressing the gathering, BTC EM Ganesh Kachari said that in post-Independence era, BTAD area was neglected by various governments of the State. After formation of BTC under the powerful leadership of BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary, development work in various sectors accelerated.

Criticizing MP Naba Kumar Sarania, Ganesh Kachari said that he was doing nothing for the people and was only working for his personal interest and benefit. Kachari also appealed to the new generation not to take the path of terrorism. He said that the BPF was working for peace and harmony in the region and people should extend support to the BPF.

In the meeting, 249 people comprising former student leaders, leaders and workers of Oboro Suraksha Samiti, leaders and workers of AGP, BJP, Congress and CPI (M) joined the BPF and were felicitated with gamosa.
