Branch body of Axam Xahitya Xabha constituted in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The new executive committee of the Basudev-Sonari Sakha Xahitya Xabha (AXX), a branch body of Axam Xahitya Xabha, was constituted on Saturday.

On this occasion, a public meeting was organized in the conference hall of the Mornoi Gaon Panchayat Office. The meeting commenced with social worker Rabindranath Khanikar in the chair. In the same meeting, the 21-member executive committee of the AXX branch body was formed with professor Ghanakanta Borah as president, journalist Rajib Baruah, social worker Guneswar Kaman as vice-presidents, Jyotinandan Goswami as secretary. Rajendra Prasad Gogoi, Dr Jitu Chamua from Lakhimpur Jila Xahitya Xabha took part in the meeting as observers.
