Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha protests against price hike in Demow

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Demow Town Committee staged a two-hour sit-in in Demow Chariali on Monday demanding scrapping of the Assam Cow Protection Act 2021 and decreasing of the price of the essential commodities.

The BAYM, Demow Regional Committee activists took placards and staged sit-in and shouted various slogans against the BJP government. Later the Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Demow Town Committee submitted a memorandum to State Chief Minister through Demow Circle Officer on Monday.
