BTC General Election Observer Majnur Hussain arrives at Kajalgaon

Kokrajhar: The BTC General Election Observer for 13- Chirang (ST), 14- Chirang Duars (ST) and 15- Kajalgaon (ST) Bodoland Territorial Council Constituencies, Majnur Hussain arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district on Wednesday.

After arriving here, he held meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, who is also Returning Officer for these constituencies, Assistant Returning Officers and district police authority in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Chirang. While briefing about preparedness for conduct of election in Chirang district, Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Gautam Talukdar gave him a brief outline of the election plan, including availability of manpower and present law-and-order situation in the district. The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioners Karmadev Brahma, Biswajit Goswami, Jayanta Sarkar, SDO(S), Assistant Commissioners Ringkhang Mashahary, Sangita Devi, and other officials assigned to election duties.
