Bus skids off road near Gamon Bridge in Sivasagar

DEMOW: A road accident took place in Sivasagar near Gamon Bridge on Tuesday morning where a night super bus skidded off the road due to which a few passengers of the bus were injured. According to sources, a Night Super Bus, Tanuj (AS 01 MC 0917) which was coming from Guwahati and heading towards Tinsukia skidded off the road near Gamon Bridge in Sivasagar on Tuesday morning. But luckily the passengers' lives were saved and however few passengers got injured. The local people helped the passengers to come out of the bus. The injured passengers were admitted to the Sivasagar Civil Hospital. Few passengers of the bus alleged that the driver of the bus was consuming alcohol and was travelling at high speed. The police reached the accident area and took stock of the situation.
