Cadets of Dibrugarh NCC Group accorded rousing welcome on their return from New Delhi

Dibrugarh: Cadets of Dibrugarh NCC Group were accorded a rousing welcome on their return from New Delhi after their splendid performance in the Republic Day Competition 2020 where the NER contingent was crowned champions for the first time. The 11 cadets who reached here at Dibrugarh Railway Station on Wednesday, were received by officers, JCOs, NCOs and fellow cadets of NCC Group.

It was truly a glorious moment for the proud cadets who grabbed the limelight by winning the PM's Rally, the Guard of Honour, Flag Area Competition and National Integration Awareness Presentation (NIAP), besides individual achievements such as Best Stick Orderly (Cadet Set Pathaw), Best Guard Commander in PM's Rally (Cadet Abhishek Pandey), second-best MC (Cadet Subrata), second-best Cadet (Cadet Raj Chhetri) and third position in Group Dance. Based on this stupendous performance by the entire contingent, Team NER secured top honors in RDC 2020. The contingent was led by Col Jitendra Kumar, SC, CO 63 Assam (Girls) Battalion NCC who inspired and led the team to success during the grueling series of competitions during RDC 2020.
