Centre of Indian Trade Unions stages nationwide demonstration in Chirang district
Along with other parts of the country, the nationwide demonstration called by the joint union of all government scheme workers

BONGAIGAON: Along with other parts of the country, the nationwide demonstration called by the joint union of all government scheme workers, was observed on Friday at Bongaigaon also by Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU).
About 2,000 activists staged the demonstration at Bongaigaon and Kajalgaon of Chirang. Several noted persons, including Hareswar Das and Hemkanta Roy, participated in this demonstration. After the demonstration, a memorandum comprising 16 demands was submitted to the Prime Minister of India.
