BISWANATH CHARIALI: Following Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's announcement that he made in 2017 while visiting Chatiya Police Station, the Archeological Department of Government of Assam initiated special steps to preserve the glorious Chatia and Gohpur police stations in Biswanath district which are associated with the memory of the country's freedom struggle. In the history of the country's freedom struggle, the names of Chatia and Gohpur have been inscribed in golden letters. The renovated police stations will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister on July 26 at Chatiya and on July 28 at Gohpur, respectively.
