Child from Biswanath Chariali rescued in Arunachal Pradesh

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Police managed to rescue a six-year old child from Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday. According to information, one Abu Taher of Kumlia village under Biswanath Chariali police station, had allegedly abducted the child from his house at Falfali village, Biswanath Chariali on Thursday and tried to sell the child at Naharlagun. A team of police personnel led by OC of Biswanath Chariali police station, Samdam Hajowari rescued the abducted child with the help of local police. Along with Abu Taher, another person named Lalit Keot of Barpukhuri has also been arrested by police in connection with the incident. Further investigation is on.
