Children’s theatre workshop held in Golaghat to nurture young talent

GOLAGHAT: Shipabhoomi and Lachit Club jointly organized a children’s theatre workshop in Golaghat recently. The workshop was inaugurated by Rajkumar Bedant Vikash Gohain, a renowned social worker and President of Lachit Club. During the inauguration, Gohain emphasized the importance of theatre in children’s mental development and encouraged parents to support their children’s participation in the workshop.

The workshop featured experienced trainers from Manipur, including renowned theatre director O Sougaijam, who graduated from the National School of Drama in Delhi. Other trainers included Jitu Rabha, also a National School of Drama alumnus, and notable theatre personalities like Bidhyut Bikash Sarma Thakur and Anuran Bezbaruah. The workshop aimed to provide a platform for children to explore their creativity and develop their acting skills, with the support of experienced trainers and local youth enthusiasts.
