CM Sarbananda Sonowal lauds Himanta Biswa Sarma's efforts towards the development of Assam

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday has inaugurated the new Ganeshguri flyover in Guwahati.

Speaking on the occasion, Sonowal lauded finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's efforts towards the development of the state and said it is an example of "good governance".

In his speech, he also appreciated the efforts made by Himanta Biswa Sarma and the responsibilities that were alloted to him have been successfully completed and he is grateful for that.

CM Sonowal also stated that today is a moment of pride as the construction of the flyover was successfully completed with the specified time expected.

The chief minister also apprised that Guwahati is turning out to be one of the most powerful cities in the South East Asian region.

Emphasizing the beautification of Guwahati, he added that the city will look better if all the houses in the city could be of a single colour.

He further stated that it is just his personal suggestion and not an imposed instruction.
