Tezpur: A two-month-long educational coaching camp for recruitment into constable post of Assam Police was inaugurated on Tuesday at District Sports Office at Hazarapar stadium by MLA Tezpur Prithiraj Rava in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das, ADC Dyotiva Bora, District Sports Officer Khanindra Mudoi, Sports organizer Jiten Bora, and others. Altogether 45 candidates, who have already cleared the physical examination for recruitment to the constable posts of Assam Police, will be provided coaching on various subjects covering general knowledge, English, mathematics, current affairs, logical reasoning, etc., by ten teachers from various government schools. The effort is a joint initiative of District Sports Office and Sonitpur district administration as part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of India's independence.
