College Student Dies In Road Mishap At Singimari

MANGALDAI: The NH-15 has been transformed into a killer highway. A college student lost his life in a tragic road accident at Singimari under Sipajhar Police Station on Friday afternoon.

According to information, LokmanHekim, a fifth semester student of BezeraAnchalik College, was returning to his home in theDhalpur area on his motorcycle bearing registration number AS 13 P 0745. At Singimari on NH 15, a speeding Guwahati- bound passenger bus bearing registration number AS 25 AC 6451 ran over him causing severe injury to the ill- fated student. He was immediately taken toGauhati Medical College and Hospital at a critical stage where he succumbed to his injuries. The police have meanwhile seized the bus.
