Community nursery of Sali paddy seedlings

BONGAIGAON: Sali paddy seeds will be sown in different places of Bongaigaon district to raise community nursery of Sali paddy seedlings for flood-affected farmers. In this connection, Phani Bhusan Choudhury, MLA of Bongaigaon LAC, will grace the ceremonial seed sowing programme as chief guest at Rashigaon near Bidyapur. Dr M S Lakshmi Priya, Deputy Commissioner of Bongaigaon, will also be present in the function. Altogether in 85 hectares of area seedlings will be raised.
