Conversion of Bilasipara civil subdivision into a district & Chapar civil subdivision demanded

BILASIPARA: Demanding conversion of Bilasipara civil subdivision into a district and creation of subdivision at Chapar, a convention was held on Sunday at the premises of Chapar Ratnapith College with presidium consisting of Tarani Kanta Roy and Dayal Paul in the chair. The aims and objectives of the convention were explained by Sheikh Hedayetullah, principal of the Chapar Ratnpith College. The convention was attended by large number of people representing different organizations. A demand committee was formed with Tarani Kanta Roy as president and Sheikh Hedayetullah as secretary. The convention ended with a vote of thanks from the chair.
