COVID-19: Assam youth who returned from Israel tests negative

Guwahati : Please do not believe rumours spread in social media about novel coronavirus. A meritorious student from Assam’s Baksa, who is pursuing his higher study in Israel and returned to home a few days ago due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, has reportedly, tested negative. His sample was tested in the Guwahati Medical College & Hospital after he had shown some symptoms of the dreaded virus infection. On Saturday, the GMCH authority, reportedly, confirmed that the 27-year-old youth was not infected by the deadly virus. The youth had studied in IIT Guwahati and gone to Israel for his further studies. He had passed some days in quarantine as per the coronavirus protocol. However, his acquaintance, who is from Uttar Pradesh, has reportedly, tested COVID-19 positive.
