CPI holds 11th Dhubri District conference at Sapatgram

BILASIPARA: The 11th district conference of the Communist Party of India (CPI), Dhubri district, was held at Sapatgram with a daylong programme on August 5. In this connection, the red flag of the party was hoisted in the morning by Munin Mahanta while Kismat Ali offered floral tribute on the martyrs’ column.

A delegate session was then started with the presidium consisting of Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Kismat Ali, and Anil Roy in the chair. Central executive member, CPI, Munin Mahanta, attending the conference as state observer, delivered the inaugural speech, while Prakash Paul Choudhury, in-charge district secretary of the party, submitted the secretarial report along with accounts of income and expenditures. After a prolonged discussion, the meeting approved the report and the accounts.
