CRPF IG, Prakash D inaugurates Basketball ground in Baksa district

GORESWAR: In a well-attended function, Prakash D, CRPF IG inaugurated a basketball ground at Goreswar in Baksa district recently. Maheswar Basumatary, EM of BTC, Deputy Commissioner of Baksa, Ranjan Sarma, Baksa Superintendent of Police Pratik Bijoy Kumar, Sujit Baglary, SDO of Tamulpur Civil Subdivision, Alakananda Medhi, Circle Officer of Goreswar, other dignitaries, students and members of Shikhar Adventure Club were present on the occasion. CRPF Inspector of Goreswar, Prasanta Singha took the initiative to prepare the basketball ground scientifically for the greater interest of the young generation of Goreswar area under the Civic Action Programme at Goreswar Higher Secondary playground. Inaugurating the basketball ground, Prakash D said, "The basketball ground had been inaugurated by CRPF but the responsibilities of operation and maintenance of the ground should be taken by Goreswar public," he said.
