CRPF Raising Day observed by 152 Battalion of CRPF based in Goalpara

GOALPARA: The 152 Battalion of CRPF based in Goalpara town of Lower Assam observed its 82nd Raising Day on Monday.

Shankar Mishra, commandment of the battalion, chaired a programme held in this regard in a befitting manner at Shastrinagar, the headquarter. Mishra highlighted the history of the battalion and the supreme sacrifice the CRPF jawans have made for the country. Two minutes silent prayer was also offered in memory of the martyrs.

Later, sweets were distributed among the jawans present on the occasion. Dharam Singh, second commandant, and other officers also attended and assisted the commander in the function.
